Definitely fitting of the challenge. Personally, I'm not keen of the composiion. The strong centre placement of the flower makes for a static image, sort of drawing the eye to the centre target. Also, it doesn't appear that any part of the flower is in focus. Finally, the whole in the top right corner is distracting to me. JMO

You definitely have met the challenge with this red/green combo. I like the composition although I think some miht say that you have broken the ROT with the tulip that has been placed in the centre. For me, the high contrast light is working against you here. The lighting makes it difficult to see and enjoy the details of the tulips and you are getting a ton of reflection from the grass, so it doesn't look as green as it could have. Depending on where the sun was, a polarizer might have helped, but earlier or later in the day would have helped also. JMO.

Forgive me for being blunt, but where is the complementary Orange. On my first Complementary Color challenge, I didn't know that there was a specific colour theory that the challenge was looking for. Maybe that's what happened here. If so, do a search on complementary colours on the Net for complementary colour reference.

I'm guessing that many have commented that this shot has missed the complementary colour based on colour theory. On my calibrated screen I see yellow and pink. Perhaps the processing changed the flower from purple to pink? JMO
