Travelling Salesmanby jseyerleComment: I really like the idea, is more creative than most submissions that I've seen. I also think you've done a great job with the lighting, it really brings out well the colors of the drink in the glass and successfully suggest some kind of late-night bar scene. The composition is also very good and well balanced. Two problems: 1) pic could be sharper, 2) the glass is tilting a bit to the left. Otherwise, very good job. |

The big leap.by marvinComment: Nice idea, fits the theme well. The pic is good but a little soft and the duckling's back is overexposed. There are also some elements that distract but then you probably didn't have much time to take the picture. Well done. |

Going My Wayby bucketComment: Nice pic. Good use of colours, using only three (gray, orange and green plus the skintones), really simplifies the picture and makes the subject pop-out. I think it was a mistake the crop out her feet, though. Also, this doesn't work for me as a picture of 'independence', but it is an excellent picture of a child. |

Spreading Her Wings by toddheadComment: Very nice photo: perfect colors, contrast and exposure. Faming of the model is great, using the out of focus sea as a background. This pic definitely evokes a mood, just not sure it's 'Independence'. But well done.
Like the fact that the model is facing away |

The red skyby AmyComment: This photo needs something to 'grab' me. I also don't think making the sky red is helpful. The lower right corner also has distracting elements. |

Independent of Earth and Skyby fotodudeComment: Very good photo, I personally like photos that use one color predominantly, blue in your case. Perhaps I'd have like to see in framed horizontally rather than vertically. It's also may just a bit too dark. |

Flying Soloby Prof_FateComment: Good idea for a pic, but two problems: 1) Photo is too soft, 2) The plane has a 'halo' around it (post-processing artefact?) |
