Dark & Luminousby CalliopeKelComment: The sepia or selective desaturation is a great effect. Perhaps a bit less USM because I think that is what's responsible for the highlights on the tree bark and the detrius on the ground. (Maybe I'm wrong there) The subject looks great though (although she should have pressed her dress. ;)) 7 |

"Dumbell and Lace..."by tfarrell23Comment: The two object have little to do with each other. Would you ever take this picture outside this challenge? The technicals aren't bad. There is a little bit of blown highlight on the arm of the dumbbell. 6 |

Desert & Lifeby phinbobComment: I wouldn't have knocked you if you just called it "Desert Life", but I guess some might have so good move. I like the subject. It's a little harsh on the lighting of the cactus. I'd prefer more even exposure there. 7 |

Darcy & Leavesby TerramarComment: I like the selective desaturation effect, although some might think it's distracting. 7 |

Dimples & Logoby dw_photoComment: I think the negative space works well. It's a nice crisp shot too. Creative title. 7 |
