BW film developerby birgirComment: This is my blue ribbon winner. I love it. Too bad the pic is small, but the idea is neat. What is that celluloid stuff wrapped around her though? It stirs something in me, but I haven't seen stuff like that for years.... 10 |

Batmanby aboutimageComment: Great capture, but there is too much midtone to make this a high contrast shot. I can only give you a 5. |

Prowby BudComment: I like the shot, but I had to go to the histogram for this one. Not very high contrast in either color or luminosity. 5. |

High contrast Eyeby jellyooooComment: I think this is borderline high contrast, but I'll give you credit. I like the negative space in the picture. 6 |

Alienby bclementsComment: The histogram and my eye read this shot as high key not high contrast, but man I love it. Mantises are my favorite insect. I can only give you a 5 though. |

Eyes Wide Openby JudiComment: Great picture, but there is too much midtone for this to be a true high contrast (check the histogram). I'll give you a neutral 5. |

Diffraction and Lightby DrAchooComment: I had no idea so many people would be curious about how I did this. It was pretty simple really. I hung a blank CD behind the candle and positioned the camera just right to capture a circular reflection. It took a bit of goofing for the best exposure, but it wasn't hard. Thanks for all the comments... |

Deserted Lonerby arnitComment: OK, I thought another shot looked like a heida landscape. This one looks more like it. great capture. The blurred seagull is distracting and I would have cloned it out, but with all the DrJones hubub, maybe it was safer to leave it in. 9. |

Depth and Luminosityby strangeghostComment: While this is cetainly better than I could do with my equipment, the motion blur of the foreground distracts. The title is a bit of a stretch as well. I'll give you a neutral 6. |
