Searching For Hot Spotsby GeneralEComment: Thanks - to those doing the dangerous work. Regarding composition, maybe the horizon alignment from the top of the fence would work better for this image. |

Pyro: "I can't create the fire, I can only control it."by AndyMac24Comment: While I have never attempted a photo of this great flame dance, and can appreciate the difficulty, I can only comment on what if ... since the hands are so red and the heat is beyond white (and cropped closely at the top) the image doesn't really need the heavy red border. good luck. 7 |

- DRAGON's BREATH - by andrewtComment: Amazing - the ball of flame at the top looks like it just might come alive ... like a creature born from the sun. |

Hot Damn!by coehlerComment: Nice idea, I love the flame just behind the bottle top (and the smoke?), however, if it wasn't too much of a fire hazard, I would have left the cap off the bottle as if it were just poured. |

Ice and fireby IreneMComment: I would love to see the full symmetrical version of this, however your choice to crop (or shoot originally) is smart in regards to many DPC voters. |

Ham Lake Fire -- May 2007by davidwComment: Wonderful to see the regrowth. It is always shocking to see land that has been burned, but it remains beautiful in a different way. |

Hephaestus ~ Greek God Of Fire by JulietNNComment: I very much appreciate the idea, the model, the lighting, the actual flame - so much effort went into this shot, the downside is the background has several distracting features - still one of the best I've seen in voting. |

haloby LelezComment: Brilliant creativity. Like the subtle color range in the "halo". |
