Paved street in a medieval villageby littlebigmanComment: The old door with the cracked plaster and greenery around it is classic. However, for this challenge, the angle from the street does not do it justice, and the street stones (slightly out of focus) do not compliment this perspective. I'd save this address because if you can go back to this old structure I predict a fabulous image that will fit a future challenge splendidly. 5 |

Power Upby jdannelsComment: Nice capture of the wood grain, the color looks saturated but still very real looking. I don't care for the sunglare but some voters like it. Good Luck. |

Enronby rioloboComment: What a structure, nice perspective, I might have tried to tweak the blues just a bit for more "pop", a bump in contrast too. |

Fleurby madhatterComment: Beautiful ... but the perspective is too staight-on to cause a "wow" from me. 5 |

What's My Line?by dphillipsComment: Cute title but unfortunately it won't carry the image past a 5 for me, you've met the challenge but the washed out sky and burned out leaves render the image deary. I wish the detail of the wood grain was the highlight. |

Reaching Toward Heavenby TG73Comment: Lovely night shot, the reflection is very complimentary to the subject, the orange lights on the sides look like fire adding drama to the image. But ... I don't quite get the "from the ground up" I am looking for. Yes, the statue is reaching up but there is too much foreground to feel that you were on the ground taking a picture. 5 |

endless windowby posthumousComment: Interesting perspective, like the use of the window, but the contrast seems a bit much; the flowers are dark (almost unreal) and the window trim is a bit blown out. 5 |

Golden Goalieby scottswanComment: While the indoor arena looks very interesting, the soft lighting and focus here do not really compliment a sports/action shot. Also, I see your subject's back, I would prefer the intense look of concentration on his face, and I don't quite get the connection to the challenge as your perspective looks straight on. 4 |

Railway to Heavenby M.O.C.Comment: Braving the railroad track as well as the lightning, are you crazy :)
Cool capture, you definitely got down on the ground and the lightning is a bonus. The foreground brightness detracts from the leading lines and dramatic sky though. |
