Hmm...doesn't strike me so much as city life as it does a good portrait shot. I see the connection, I just feel it has more potential in another catagory. Love the reflected light on his face, and the OOF fire in the background.

I really like the colors in this, how each building is different. All the masts and lines in the front make it somewhat busy, which could be reduced if more of the first boat could be seen.

This is a really emotive shot, but IMO you could have filled more of the frame with the woman, and less with sidewalk, trees, etc.
