Hey, I've been there! Nice capture of the falls - I like the high vantage point. The snow at the bottom looks just a bit blown out to me, but overall its a good composition.

I think this is way over-processed - it has the fake uber HDR look. The original is far superior, in my opinion. Perhaps if you added this to the original as a new layer, faded to about 20%, they might mix well. But not as a stand-alone photo.

Rose clouds before Ribs

It's a very pretty shot, but it's lacking something in terms of lighting - seems kind of flat to me. I gave it a 6, so it was above average, but there's a lack of contrast overall. Perhaps a little dodging and burning would do the trick. I sometimes have this same problem with my own photos - they just don't pop well enough.

Warm to Cool Temperature Scale

This is an amazing photo and one of the most beautiful I've seen here in a long time. This was one of those moments and you were very lucky to capture it! The range in color temperature is just great, and the details are too. There's real texture in the clouds, which works well with the texture in the grass. And having the trees across the horizon as true black silhouettes really gives a defining line through the scene. Definitely a favorite and a 10.

Red swamp

Remarkable landscape and very well photographed. I like the mixing of warm and cool tones throughout, as well as the way that the puddles in the foreground somewhat match the shape and distribution of the clouds in the top left. It's subtle, but I see it as a mirroring effect. The only thing I might have done differently is to crop it so that there was only the one central mountain, ending up in the upper right corner, instead of including the smaller hill that's partly cropped out. 10

Whirlpool

Amazing shot and more complex than it first appears. I originally liked it for the waterfalls and the foam circling in the pool. Then I noticed the bridge in the BG and the person on it, which gives it a whole new aspect. Add in the detail in the land and it becomes even more beautiful. Definitely a 10.

This is an excellent capture! I really hope that you're a university photographer, or at least work for the school, because they've got to love this shot. I work freelance for a university and know that they'd just about kill for a shot like this. Some might wish her face were visible, but I like it as it is - the motion and energy of it is captured very well. 10

One of my favorite photos in this challenge, and probably on DPC. Very minimalistic, which I appreciate. Subtle colors, subtle texture in the BG but just enough on the tree. Makes me wish I was really there. 10
