Specterby JSAYBComment: "Ghost" shots always get extra points from me! That being said though, you might have picked a better backdrop for this shot and that spot in the upper right corner is very distracting... what is it? |

Begonia Basketby skewsmeComment: I am really looking forward post voting and seeing what your set-up was. If I didn't know better I'd think it was a painting rather than a photo. Amazing! |

The Amityville horrorby crayonComment: Am shocked this photo didn't score better. FWIW, this was my one and only 10 vote for this challenge. Well done. |

Faery Tale Dreamsby jaxterComment: Thank you all for your helpful comments. The setup I used for this shot wasn't the most ideal it could have been. The bed was a twin, placed against a wall with a window in it. I hung a white sheet behind to to reduce the glare from the window. I couldn't agree more that a flatter angle would have been better, and I did take a few shots that way. Couldn't go any lower without catching my hanging sheet on the shot though. Lesson learned... take the time to pull the bed away from the window where the harsh light isn't a factor.
I must also thank my daughter for once again being my model. It never fails to amaze me how well she can take direction and understand how I want her to pose with only a brief description of what I want. |

Young Loveby jaxterComment: Thank you both for your comments. I half expected when I submitted it that there would be a few shots similar out there in the voting pool, but I really liked the concept and am pleased with the way it turned out. I tend to shoot for the pleasure of my own eye rather than the voters eyes so I've come to expect a few low placers. I am pleased that you two were also able to appreciate my photo. |

Badwaterby gaurawaComment: Amazing. I honestly can not think of a better way to express it. Did you manually fade the upper left corner and add the moon or is this straight from the lens? Either way it's incredible. Personally, when I can manage to capture the kind of DoF that you've captured here in my own shots, I'll start considering myself a photographer instead of a weekend picture taker. :o) |

Curvesby gaurawaComment: You are right about some sun and the resultant showdows would have given a greater feeling of depth. Consider this though, it quite likely (unless you really tweaked the settings), would have blown out on the tops of the dunes. The cloud layer was thin enough to allow some light, and to my eye it was sufficient to give it enough depth to do the trick. You should be very proud of this shot. Looks awesome! |

Liquid Comfortby brianedenComment: Love the concept and composition. I think it would have come out a lot better though by spacing the bottles just a tad closer and bumping to a lower f-stop to get better DoF. Colors are excellent other than that red reflection on the center bottle. And as I'm sure several others have commented, size does matter. A little too little. |
