I really love the detail you were able to get on this shot. However, the light source is very harsh (single point and very directional) that it's easy to be distracted by it.

This is a nicely set up shot but it looks as if you used your camera's build in flash - resulting in a very flat looking image. This same shot, with a flash off to the side, would really be nice.

The oldest way in town

This is a cool shot but with all the trees there is a lot of distraction from your subject. Using a color shot, even if de-saturated would have decreased the density and, therefor, made the trees less distracting.

All said, however, it's still a very nice shot.

Framed perfection

Great shot. You've done a wonderful of bringing out the colors (various shades of blue), yet having a sharp demarcation between the sea and the sky. It really brings home the though of warm, lazy summer days.

From Rural to Urban

Many people don't use filters in a way that helps their shots but here, you did a great job of using a gradient filter. Your point, going from the green of rural to the smoggy industrial urban area is really brought home as a result. Nice job.

"ALL IN"

I really like this shot. It's well composed and does a great job of conveying the feeling of a poker match. On the technical side however, it seems like the white balance is a bit on the yellow side (at least on my monitor) which is a little distracting. All in all it's a really good shot though.

This is a nice composition but your exposure is a bit dark for my tastes. I'd really like to see more detail in the building on the water. Still, a nice shot.

Tracks to the Past

You've done a great job of controlling balance in this shot. The building would have really "overweighted" the right part of the image but your decision to include the RR tracks balances it nicely. The sky adds interested both in texture and color as well as accentuating the (other wise too) subdued color of the rest of the shot. Really well done.
