Just in front of Notre dame, right? While backpacking through Europe with my sister 15 years ago, we just happened to run into Don Burke in this square. He was filming a special show in France! Hope you're enjoying your trip. There's some great shots in this set.

Nice portrait, with something a little out of the ordinary. I would never have known it was taken indoors - you've done a great job with the light. I remember a year or so back when you changed your username, and the reasons behind it. Well, it has paid off - you have certainly learnt to use the light very well! :)

Nice shot. It would be good to see just a little more of her face, for a better connection with the subject. This is also a tricky shot exposure-wise, but you've got a good compromise for the perfect overall exposure.

Love it! The essence of surfing is nicely captured in this off-da-lip shot. The processing is quite severe, but doesn't jump out as overdone. Nice work.

Nice shot. A lot of dedication goes into floating in the impact zone to get shots like this. Looking at his clothing, I'd say it wasn't too cold for you though. :) There's a few technical issues with the shot, some aberration, looks like too much noise processing and sharpening - this is probably all from having to crop down from such a wide lens. The drop of water covering the left side of the shot is pretty lucky it wasn't covering the subject. Overall still a good shot. Well done!
