Wow! I love the green landscape of this photo mixed with the red/grey clouds above. Nice work! The low angle of lighting really helps to define the landscape.

This photo is just too busy to really make this group portrait effective. Either limiting the DOF or moving them out to the beach would have probably been better. The on-camera flash is apparent with everyone as well. It's nice to have the flash to fill the shadows in the middle of the day but I don't find them very effective at lighting up a subject.

This is a lovely photograph, but I really don't see poverty in it. The photo is way too clean for that. His skin is smooth, clean and without blemish. His hair is well kept. With that said, this is still an excellent portrait, the title just doesn't fit it.

This would be a great snapshot to scrapbook for memories, but the compsotion is too centered and the contrast is too dull. It kind of gives off a muddy appearance like a poorly exposed b/w film shot from years ago.
