This isn't a bad photo, but I think there should have been more thought given to the shadows under the tree and the placement of the three people in the canoe. The middle person is almost all hidden.

Excellent work. I really like the different lighting throughout the photo, and the extra items besides just photographs, such as the binoculars. Great photo.

I really like this shot. I haven't seen it in color yet, but I can imagine that it definitely is more appropriate in b/w. I agree that the ring distracts from the overall image.

I like the composition. The highlights and shadows seema bit too contrasty. I do like the soft focus and the duotone. Nice work.

This is too much of a snapshot. Lights are too light, darks are too dark. Subjects are staring off in to space. Nice try.

This seems more like a snapshot, but I am very impressed with how it turned out. It appears as though it would have been taken at high noon, but you did an excellent job on the shadows and highlights to make everything come out just right. Good job.
