As for the shot itself. It is not a portrait photo. Although I'd wish to. It is a street candid shot. this girl did not know I was shooting at her at the moment.

I am still new to photography (3 months). I am sucking everything I could about photography. Some of you have given me very good critiques that I badly needed. Here I have to thank BobsterLobster for his helpful critiques. Next time, I should be able to do better. :)

The DOF is too thin, a bit more would have made this photo very interesting. and the sharpness suffers even the front "singer"

Photo wise, this is another great photo from you. But it may be a bit off track to many western viewers. As an oriental, I knew why you chose this. The way we unstand the word of "Music" is a bit different than western world. I almost gone for a similar shot. I just hope this photo score well, since it is so oriental music type - slow pace and peaceful. I always enjoyed your photos.

1> I'd cut the sky off a bit, so the building can be in the center
2> I'd correct the distortion in PS.
3> I'd use highlight/shade to make foreground brighter and sky darker
4> I'd boost the color a bit, so the sky looks bluer
5> I'd play with curve at the last to make it the way I want.
