This is supposed to be a "camera" self portrait, but, the challenge aside, I like the expression and perspective of this shot. Too bad this doesn't fit. |

Pieced back together, with some helpby becky-leeComment: Unfortunately, I find the lighting a bit of a problem. There are some harsh shadows and blown highlights, particularly on and around the bird, which takes away much of its detail. The photo may not be stellar, but the situation you've captured is somewhat emotional, and makes me wonder what happened to the bird. I can see many people thinking that this doesn't meet the challenge, but that doesn't include me. |
