This is very good. The little reflection in the eye adds a lot. The only thing I would suggest is that maybe it could be brightened a bit. It seems a bit dull color-wise with the white appearing more gray.

This is a very nice shot. I love the color combination. Did you try some post-processing sharpening? If not, I think it would make you images stand out even more and show more detail.
