This photo looks like it's been very carefully composed. Well done for including such an interesting (& varied) set of instruments, & for attention to detail in small things (it looks like the backdrop may have been put up just for the photo shoot).

A very strong image. I would have cropped this a lot tighter - cutting off everything from the right wrist down & leaving almost no space just above the head.

The hands & the clay head have so much power to them!

I find that dark photos are great if I know what I'm looking at (like a face that's half in the light, or a building's silhouette). There's a dramatic element to it that would be missing if everything was visible. But in this case the darkness is really hindering me: I'm not familiar enough with pilots uniforms to know why the epaulets (if that's what they are?) are different from each other. Are they from two different uniforms? Is something in front of the one on the right?

A little more light would really have helped me here...

The car itself is in an interesting position & I think the position you worked from when you took the photo is great too. One of the questions I have about this photo is whether the lighting improves the shot or not. It looks like it was taken in early morning or in the evening & those are generally good times because of the unusual shades of light. However, that's not the case here - there's just a general darkening of the photo.

Maybe there was an effect you were going for & I just missed it..., but again, good job on the angle of the photograph.
