I congratulate you on your first place ribbon. Capturing a black cat by itself is one thing and without a "cat Wrangler" is the hardest thing to do with a cat you did an amazing job and deserve that ribbon. I take photos of cats on the weekends for a nonprofit group and even with a "cat Wrangler" there to pose the cats it is still a little crazy with the cats jumping down or moving around and once they let go there is no telling what will happen! so I applaud you on a great photo you deserve that number one spot!  =^..^=

Very nice photo! I love the mist/haze/fog on the bank and behind the trees. I also like how you didn't just give the 'usual' mirror glass lake and reflection but mixed it up and did NOT crop out the little water 'weeds' in the foreground. One of my favorites.

This is a very nice photo. Good setting, lighting, colors and subject matter. My only issue is that the cropping gives it the illusion that the horses legs are cut off. I realize they are in the grass but maybe if there were more grass in the foreground it would not give this illusion. But other than that I love this. The trees look amazing in the background as well!

Creepy smile vs. cute smile = adorable storytelling photo. Your title fits the the photo perfectly. I really like this photo, it's got a content depth and can most likely be interpreted in so many ways which is what photography and art is all about. Way to Go!

The composition and lighting are off here. I would lighten up the photo. And general when you have a person facing to the right it is better to stage them on the left.

I found this photo a little to dark in the contrast zone. The male on the left of the girl. His shirt and his hair is so dark there is not definition. I think you have a great idea here and composed rather well!

This is a very nice smile photo. Kind of classic in a portrait feeling, but there is something about his face that I just can't look away from. But it is very grey overall is my only negative. Nice!
