Reflectionby hajekaComment: I think this is o.k., but there isn't much to grab my attention or make me want to spend some time enjoying the image. Just my two cents...trying to be helpful. |

Warehouse Aby LN13Comment: This is well-presented, with nice detail. However, there isn't much to interest me in the subject matter. It would be more pleasing if someone was leaning out of one of the windows, or if curtains were blowing out a window, or some such thing. I realize that you can't create wasn't isn't present; I'm merely mentioning what I think holds this kind of image back from being a winner. (Believe me, I do the same thing all the time.) |

A Midsummer Evening at the Shoreby Bear_MusicComment: Nice collection of silhouettes and near-silhouettes in this landscape. Processing seems a bit on the over-saturated or HDR side of things to me, but given the placement of the sun and the brightness of the water, I can see how this would be a more challenging image to process. The composition, however, is very pleasing and I keep going from person to person and imagining their moods and conversations. |

Uh-oh!by glad2badadComment: Uh-oh! For the life of me, I can't figure out what the subject matter of this image is, beyond the obvious presence of water. I'm guessing that it is three children with floating devices at the edge of a pool, but I could be off by a mile. |

Riversideby MAKComment: This is a fine image, with interest in the people in the foreground and on the river. I'm not sure if the problem is my eyes or the image, but it seems to be a tad out of focus. Certainly a beautiful setting for a photograph. |

Pointedby giantmikeComment: I wish there were more clouds in the sky so the glass would have more interest. |

Caught by the Frostby kasabaComment: This fits the frame well. The red dot on the upper leaf/pod is a bit distracting, but I guess I am nitpicking with that. |

DSC_9604 kopieraby wejnaComment: I like this a lot, but think the focus is just a tad too narrow as his back wing would have been nicer if sharper. Still, the colors are good and the background blur is pleasing. I scored it well, but it just missed being one of my favorites by the narrowest of margins. |

Descentby GarryComment: Fine composition. It's amazing that you could fit a stairwell into such a narrow, elongated frame. Good range of tones too. Well done, IMHO. |
