Tanguera is quite right - too different. I have since done a full black and white which is soooo much better. I had briefly tried it the night before - not sure why I rejected it.


I am glad you kept this one in the challenge, and I think its a great image. I gave it a 9, and if I could control the ribbons, you wouldve gotten one. Its brilliance is that it is different.

Im not going to vote on this shot, because I dont feel it meets the challenge. It is an incredible shot though. I like the isolation of the yellows and blues, and the near perfect reflection.

A very appetizing shot. My only critique would be the fork in the bottom corner, and the beef in the background. I think if you got rid of both it would improve the photo. 7
