Belly Dance 2by ChezComment: Selective desaturation can't be applied to just any picture. This is one picture that it works! It works well! This is awesome. |

A leg up...by bmooreComment: * Critique Club*
This is an interesting photo. I had no idea it ws the Gateway Arch from St. Louis! This wasn't what I had in mind for "industrial" I say that because I think that everyone has a different point of view of what they are expecting when voting on a themed challenge. The picture is a little noisy and there is a hot spot on the arch. I still am impressed with what you were able to accomplish with basic editing! Very nice! I just wasn't impressed with the subject for this challenge. One more thing that bothers me is that the base of the arch is dead center in the frame. This makes the composition sort of boring. Using the rule of thirds maybe would help. |

One Legged Sunsetby Prof_FateComment: *Critique Club*
Whew! This was a touch challenge huh? There were so many great shots entered! I think that you have a great silhouette here. I really don't think that the color you added in the background added to the picture. Of course I haven't seen the orginal so it may have been an improvement. Your title is confusing to me because the bird is what is one legged and there isn't even a sunset present. Even though your photo is nice, I think that for this challenge it was just lost in the many good entries. |

When is Daddy coming home?by mandyturnerComment: I can't BELIEVE I got 50th! I knew some people woudn't like the grain, but I thought that it really added mood to the message I was trying to represent with this image. I am so humbled to have done this well in a challenge with so many awesome photos. There are MANY better than my photo and I am just in shock. |

The fashionism of...by Aron5109Comment: I didn't see this during the voting stage....I love it! I would have given it an 8. My only problem with it is the contrast may be a little too hard. It makes the colors over saturated. I love the shot though. I would love to see this processed differently. |
