Too Little, Too Lateby alfrescoComment: I just realized I never left you a comment on this excellent shot - gave it a 9 back when we voted. Knowing now all the hassle it was for you to capture this, I'd have given you a 10. Perseverance sure pays off. |

This shot is really neat in many ways. The composition is nice and strong. The colors are nice and vivid - grab your eye - very graphic funk style. Focus is real sharp - works great here! Congrats on a well executed image.

I must admit, I did not know what a grigri was, and without knowing this image did not help me visualizze the username. Thank you for explaining in your comments box.
Technically:
Focus is nice and sharp. I like your choice of using black and white but it may be a tad too dark. Composition is strong. Overall a good shot.

A simple image - very nice. I like the silhouette, and the centering works well for this image. There is some distracting banding going on with the background however. Otherwise an creative, well executed shot.

A funny shot that fits the challenge well. Technically well composed, but the focus seems too soft. The lighting on the face of this mischevious kitty is lacking also.

ONECROSSby Sunshine86Comment: ** Greetings from the Critique Club **
This was one of my favorite entries! Beautiful soft foicus, wonderful composition. The sepia tones and choice of border really set this one apart from others. The feeling it emotes is very powerful.
The only technical flaw is the odd shadow below the arms of the cross.

Techincally this shot is pretty good for a macor, although it seems a little noisy. Might not actually be noise, but impurities in the water actually - maybe a shot not quite so close would have made the 'noise' less apparent. The colors are nice and soft. Focus could be sharper.
