Demolition Crane Dancersby whatdewucComment: ok, i really don't get this one. it seems your subject does not fit the challenge, although your secondary subject, if you want to call it that, might. i'm a little lost as to the direction this photo is supposed to take me. |

She Flys Againby hslightninComment: I'm not sure I can mentally qualify the vehicle as a tool of the trade for astronauts. No dock for my opinion on how well this one fits the challenge, thoughk, as I can your viewpoint. It's a great photo only marred by the two "hairs", or whatever they are. |

A cabinet makers old tech....and modern tech.by rjpatComment: It would be in the middle of the pack for this reason: Probably a good 80% of all the entries are shots of tools, and only tools. They're identical to this shot, only they're different sets of tools, shot to varying technical degrees of excellence. But they're all tools.
My guess is the average voter is going to get to the 30th set of tools, no matter how well shot, and start handing out 5's to everything that's not a little out of the box.
I would have given it a 6 for superior photographic quality. Message edited by author 2005-07-27 02:28:03. |

"Eye of the Needle..."by tfarrell23Comment: Interesting shot. I'm torn between not liking the fact that nearly everything is out of focus, and loving the long grainy lines on the top right. I'm rather curious what caused those. |
