The Roadby puzzledComment: Nice perspective. It feels like you really are looking down-hill. As others have mentioned, clone out the sign on the left, and maybe work on the very dark area on the top left. Something else that I think would add to the shot is maybe a bicycle just coming around the corner...but maybe not, just a thought. |

Half dome at sunsetby gaurawaComment: Nice shot. I can see what you were going for with the reflection in the water, but I agree with papa. I think the running water makes it difficult to pull off. I would wonder what difference a slower/faster shutter would make. The colors and exposure are great, though. |

Get Married = These Disappearby leteneleComment: haha! Sad, but true. Nice shot, only complaint is the white lace blends into the white background....or maybe it's pink lace that is just keyed up. |

insectby philoup2Comment: oops! A little more DOF would be nice, though (neither the tail or head end of the bug is in focus). |

Macro Outakeby tcrock41Comment: I agree, I would have liked this entry. My only suggestion would be that one complete letter be in focus. Could have made a big difference in score if you did enter it. |

Heroes to the Horizonby 2WheelerComment: You lead me half way through the picture to a bright sky with no texture. I think if there were maybe a monument/statue at the horizon, it would make this much stronger. |

Road to the Tetons by postoakinversionComment: I like the dynamic feel of this shot. The BW works well, lots of interesting textures in teh clouds and mountains. The road definitely leads you, but isn't ove-powering. |

P62928411.jpgby slipintoshadowsComment: The building itself is exposed pretty well. But, the harsh hilights and loss of details in the shadows really hurt this shot. I would at least crop out the really hot areas to the left and right. Maybe even the leaves at the top, and just focus on the statue. Alternatively, maybe set up a tripod and take a couple of exposures (one for shadows, one for hilights) and combine them. |
