I love the reflections and the glass-like smoothness (is that a word??) of the water. The rocks near and middle-ground mountains really frame the lake, then the far off mountains are a great backbrop. Lots of depth, with most of the interest in the near 2/3. One thing I might do is clone out the two sprigs of weeds at the bottom center of the image. Beautiful shot!

You mentioned in the forum post "it's nothing spectacular". The question is "what would make it spectacular?" (not that I actually know what I'm talking about). I think Shadow has a good point...nothing to settle on...it's a very busy photo. I think the lighting is one thing that could make a dramatic change in this shot. It looks like a very bright day, and the tree trunk that is "washed out" kind of draws your attention to it at the egde rather than in for a deeper look at things. I Can't tell if this is a flash going off or direct sunlight near the bottom, and shade as you go up. If it's sunlight, maybe a reflector to shine up the trunk and onto the leaves would help.

When I first saw this shot, based on the grass and the light, I was guessing it was yours! :-) Interesting perspective and awsome job with the exposure!

I think this may have done better if you would have gotten closer to the subject. I don't think all the negative space at the top adds much to the photo. As it is, we can see the guy, and he looks interesting, but he isn't close enough to really study him (at least not at 640) ;-) At 12mm, I imagine what I am suggesting would put really close to him, though. I can understand why you may not have been able to get that close. It would, however, increase the 'ground up' perspective as well as bring him closer.

This is one of my favorites of the collection. Very emotive without being too obscure/abstract. The post processing is very well done to achieve the moodiness of this shot, goes perfectly with the expression.

This looks like something out of a magazine/sales brochure. Very nice. Somehow, I get the feeling that your representation of this car is better than the car itself. Like you have done a portrait of the car, showing its best side rather than a full body shot. :-)

Another beautiful composition. You have done an excellent job representing these cars. The different angles and compositions, the treatment...wow!

Maybe try some dodging and USM to bring out the eyes. Looks like the focus point might have been her shoulder. Nice soft feel, and if you can bring some more sharpness and attention to her eyes, that may make a big difference.

Nice capture.
