Orange saver at the blue lakeby tyrkinnComment: hi there from the CC Club
this photo does meet the challenge nicely .. the nature state of the blue and orange works well and the composition lets everything stand out on its own and come together very well.
I would have to say if the live saver was a little brighter may have bumped the score up a little .. but i do stil like the immediate contrast of the blue and orange. i like the way you cropped just half of the saver in the photo .. although what i think would look cool too if you can move the life saver was to have the blue sky in the middle of the ring ... but it looks like that it's securely fastened to the pole ... the simple black border also works nicely ... keep up the good work :) |

three pairsby tomzinhoComment: hi there from the CC club
nice choice of subject for complementary colors ... certainly meets the challenge ... however i think if the colors were more vibrant or more "in your face" the image in a whole would have scored higher.
the composition works well here .. the staggered currancy with the appropriate complementary colors against the black background and the detail in the money is well executed. I think this is a nice original idea - but if you focused in on one pair i think it may have given it a more impact on the viewer .. keep up the good work ... ayme |

African Daisies in a Bed of Fernsby KINGComment: Hey there from the CC Club ...
this is a very nice shot - especially for the camera that was used and the techinique that you executed :)
the colors are nice and vivid and purplue and green certainly are secondary colors .. so you definitly met the challenge.
the composition of the image also works very well .. i do like the fact that the background isnt totally blurry - making out the fern leaves works really well and also leads the eye towards the flower in the left corner ... the clarity and detail along the petals and inner part of the flower is very good .. its sometimes hard with that cam .. i have one too - but you mastered it pretty well :)
i think the pollen actually sets off the other colors nicely .. adds an extra kick to the image - if that makes any sense :)
keep up the good work! |

A couple of secondary colorsby patchesthedogComment: hi there from the CC Club :)
This does show secondary colors .. how ever i think it should be a bit more vibrant ... the quilt has beatiful stiching and detail in itself ... the composition of the image and the lines in the quilt is set up nicely ... the lines remind me of rays of sunshine or what not ...
again though i think this may have scored a little higher is you boosted the color in saturation or in brightness and contrast i think it would help the image jump outta the page a little more ... keep up the good work :) |

I Can't Drive 55!by buzzrockComment: Hi there from the CC Club :)
nice form of Transportation :) .. this image is nice and sharp .. the angle gives it a more of a candid feel - and i do like it that way ... This is a nice original idea for transportation ... however .. i do wish the background was blurred a little just so the horse and buggy jumps out a little. Coulda been a little funnier if a MPH sign was there saying 55 :) .. great job .. keep it up :) |

Theme Parkby marboComment: hey there from the CC Club :)
I like your choice of images ... i think it's a very good first time multi-image composition :) ... i'm not too keen about the beveled borders on the individual images .. but it's fun to play .. i think i woulda added the borders or shadows to the text and just maybe did a drop shadow for the images ... i do like the choice in the background with the green it's nice and inviting :)
Great job .. keep it up :) |

First of the Seasonby RefractedComment: hey there from the CC Club! :)
OOh pretty themed image of the new flowers ... the colors are awesome - especially with the overcasted sky you spoke of. This is one of the fewer 2 photo images ... i think it woulda been a little stronger if maybe you took the white flowers and put another image on the other side of the purple to make it 3 ... just my opinion ... the detail on the flower petals are very nice and the DOF works well i think. great job overall :) - keep it up :) |

Joy Rideby jenaromComment: hi there from the CC Club! :)
This grouping of images is so much fun :) I can definiftly understand the theme and story behind the images.. The colors and tones are great .. and especially the focus and expression ... great job! I like the choice of a small white border ... it keeps with the cheeriness of the images. Great job ... i really dont have any suggestions .. i like it the way it is :) |

Native in my area,Cowgirls and Horsesby boyte1Comment: hey there from the CC Club :)
Nice capture ... and definintly could be fauna ... all depends in what region you are in - right? :)
the detail in the moving horse is excellent ... the expressions on both of their faces add a nice touch too :) .. even the DOF with the trees in the background sets the image off nicely ... my only quirk i guess would be that i'm not quite sure with the composition though ... the horse is in the middle of the image and something just looks kinda off ... did the horse just jump over the poles on the ground? it's kinda hard to figure out whats really happening in this image .. or more of what made the horse react they way it did ..
over all though it's an awesome fun shot :) keep up the great work :) |
