Excellent DOF on a an action shot. I feel like that calf is looking right at me and is going to come out of my screen to run me over. Good lighting too on the rope to make your circle stand out.

WOW!! Excellent fireworks shot. I love the red glow on the clouds or smoke. Also on the water. I'm otherwise speechless. Are you going to clone out the city lights after the challenge? I can't really decide if it would be better with or without.

Nice...has that "James Bond" feel. The overexposed look of the white areas, I feel, adds to this picture and the water reflections are a nice touch. I hope you are scoring well on this because is it a very good picture.

Beautiful picture! The tree branch frames the subject nicely. I think the soft focus does well here. Kudos for not overexposing the sun. I love the colors. Good job and good luck in the challenge.

Rural Perspective

The lighting is nice here. Highlights your subject well. Sharp focus...shows nice texture. At first I thought the right was kind of wasted space and could be cropped, but then again, it shows the rural"ness" of the area. The clouds are nice and adds more depthness to the photo. Too bad in this challenge that you couldn't clone out the post in the background.

You did great on the motion effect of the lifesaver. i am very impressed. There just seems to be a pink hue and a general haze over the picture, especially in the background. I can't help but wonder if this would be better in B&W with an adjustment in contast to bring the lifesaver out more. Just a thought on an already well done photo.

Refreashing to see something other than a bug or a flower...and chocolate, no less. YUM. This is a very nice close-up and the picture is composed well. It just appears a tad flat. Perhaps a little level adjustment would give it more depth and pop.
