Groom Toolsby fiveriversComment: The yellow hue is rather unappealing. I would have liked to see more color in this picture. Perhaps not necessarily with the products, but maybe adding a colorful flower, washcloth, or shower sponge. |

Tools for Foolsby mihaibadicComment: Eekk! Kind of disturbing. Although the subject matter is rather dark, the picture itself is technically well done. I like the angle and the empty space. You can question whether he is doing this himself or if someone else is holding the hammer. Good lighting and focus. |

Tools of the Firemanby GatorguyComment: I'm thinking that this might be a better shot had you gotten a little closer and had more of the fireman's hat and equipment in the picture. Plus, there seems to be a yellow hue to it that could be removed. |

Bending Steelby docurrieComment: Nice...I like the stop motion of him working. The greese and soot are definately realistic. Great in B&W. 9 |

Seamstress Toolsby cboltComment: This is not a bad photo. I just feel that the DOF is a little narrow. The focus appears to be on the tension control dial...I would like to see more of the machine sharpe. The button, thread and thimble look good. I think a little bit more could be cropped from the top. |

Machine and Man: Tools of the Tillamook Cheese Factoryby bvoiComment: This was one of my favorite places that we went to visit during our Oregon trip last summer. I'm not sure I like the sepia or yellow tone of this picture. I do believe that this is a good canidate for selective desaturation...to desaturate everything but the cheese blocks. By the way, if it weren't for the title, I or anyone else would really know what this picture was specifically about. The blocks could also be butter...or do they make butter too? Hmm. Ok this is enough..LOL I give you a 6 |

Wrenchby KristinnComment: Creative idea for the challenge. My question is...what is a wrench doing in a wine glass? Anyway, it makes for a cool effect (the bubbles). I reallly like the color and how it plays in the glass especially at the stem. Handle of the wrench is a little over exposed. All that together...I give it an 8 |
