In my Fabulous Worldby ladibugComment: This is good I like the lighting and the way the picture in the back looks like the boy in the front with his ruffled dark hair and clothing. Maybe the real boy could be just a tad higher. Good. Sorry can't vote though. |

La Fille en Couleur (the girl in color)by fotodudeComment: I like the shallow dof and the way the focus falls away on the clothing. not sure about the orange thing in the background. maybe needs to be more out of focus, it is a bit distracting to me as is. all in all though good picture. sorry I can't vote though. |

Pieces of Meby JulieGComment: Yes it was a piece of screen I found on the side of my house. It's not insect screen, but it was to keep out mice. Each square is about half a centimeter or just less than quarter of an inch. It is actually silver too although it looks black in the picture.
Just to tell you that it was one of your images that inspired me to make this picture, so thanks. |

Simple Refractionby SamDoe1Comment: I still like this picture and I could imagine it in a physics book to teach kids what refraction is. I am sure after seeing this picture they wouldn't forget. |

Roy G. Biv by soupComment: Very good. Looks like some kind of liquid oozing down. The refraction is super sharp. Congrats on your ribbon. |

Man at Bus Stop with Advertisementby Keith ManiacComment: I think this is one instance where being further away would have been better. It is difficult to tell the picture on the right is an ad. I do love the contrast though between the guy in the ad, all happy and bright, and the guy standing there in his muted clothing. |

Pieces of Meby JulieGComment: Thank you metatate. I am a bit mad at myself for not doing a better job with this picture in post processing. I kinda rushed it and somehow added all this grain. Funny cos I spent about three days perfecting the drops and taking the picture, then rushed the end. I love the effect though and definitely want to explore it some more. Thanks too for the link to Chuck Close. I checked him out and found his work inspirational. |
