This is a great shot. The only suggestion I'd make is crop out the bottom just below the star at her elbow. That's it. The deep of field is awesome.

Beautiful Park soon to be a Golf Course

This is a nice photo, I like the long shadows. I have one problem about the title. It is editorialized. Why you may think it is a beautiful park, the reader may not. With headlines try to stick to the facts. Say this photo is for a story about local citizens upset that this park is going to become a golf course. How about "Proposed Course Location Angers Locals" The story and caption could tell the reader where the location is.

Obviously I don't know what your situation was at the time but could you have pulled into that gas station and gotten a head-on angle of the damage? Just thought of an alternative to this. Also, the title is a bit on the long side. How about "Impatience Leads to Collision"? The reader will get the other information from the article itself or the caption. Just a thought.
