Composition - Good work with this one. Honestly this image looks about as good as it could as is. This is a very well taken photo. Good placement of the subject and I like the flowers in the background to give it a little more color. The only thing I can really think of to make the composition a little better is to have the frog facing slightly more toward us instead of slightly away. Other than that, nice shot

Technical - Only 2 things that even come to mind on this one. The focal point looks like it might have been just a little bit in front of the frog, maybe just under his left arm. With the small aperture, he's still pretty darn focused to me. But that little branch under his left arm looks spot on, so maybe he's just the tiniest bit soft since his head is not in that same plane (judging from here). The other thing that comes to mind is that the colors could have used just a little push forward on the saturation to make him pop off the page just a little more. The only thing to guard against there is that the purples don't get so loud that they overpower the subject.

Overall - I think its a fine photo. Not really much to speak of that's wrong with it. I think you got jipped a little on the score, but its by no means a bad score. Good work and good luck in the future - Bob

Altogether not too bad. Its kind of on the cusp of not sharp enough, but as a portrait, I think its okay to not be pin sharp. I like the high-keyness of it, but you should've given him a little more "living" room, or room around him. This really tight crop is a little constrictive. This is a pretty recognizable kid too, esp sporting his Happy Valley garb, but I've been wrong before....

A little too much playing with photoshop on this one. Were you having fun with the curves adjustments? More digital art than photography and that doesn't bode well in my book.

Interesting idea. The sky is pixelated and grainy to the max on this picture. I think the negative space would've been good, if it wasn't so distracting.

A steel wheeler. Good find! DId you consider greyscaling this one? I think it is a worthy candidate of making a simulated old photo.

This is real close to being very good. If it were me, I'd have a little more light, make this a little clearer and back up just a couple feet. The car is a great subject too.

You've done a great job with this one. This is one of the few toys that actually looks real, or its actually a car and it looks like a toy. Whatever the case, I'm at least thinking that I'm fooled on this one. I haven't been giving the toys very good scores in general either.

This angle is not conducive to chrome, as you have put yourself in the picture with your head just above the "S" in Hudson. A slight change in the angle would've gone a long way with this shot, and not just in regards to you being in the photo.

Unless there was some reason for cutting this picture down so low, I would've given this beauty a little more head room. It seems unnaturally tight on top.

Love the concept of the shot. But I think the sled is a little crowded in the picture. I think the lighting is a little to thin as well. It could've been a little brighter which might've also lessened your shutter speed and made the picture a trite bit clearer as well.
