Sunset on the Snake Riverby sagestudioComment: If this were clearer it would be a much more successful shot. It is very muddy and not clear. The colors are nice and you don't have a lot of banding, noise, oversaturated problems that a lot of these shots have. The picture is just not clear enough. The colors are beautiful though and I see why you shot this. |

Home on the Rangeby ShannonComment: Dont like the framing on this. I think he should've been facing the open side, putting him on the opposite side of the frame. Bison is a little underexposed and the sky is a pretty dreary color too. Idea for the shot is good, just need to clear up a few details and this would really improve. 6 |

Idaho Wildernessby goinskiingComment: Very nice landscape. Trees are just a little bit dark in the foreground. This is a great photo, and probably a perfect one with a little less sunlight where you could leave the shutter open just a hair longer to get a little more exposure on the dark trees without blowing anything out. NIce work. Have to settle for 9 though. |

Winter Solitudeby cardinalmomComment: sky is messed up. Noisy, probably oversaturated. Not that this isn't a nice picture, but the sky is a really big distraction. Even if the horizon is truly tilted, it might not hurt to straighten it. It would also bring the tree to more of a right angle. |

Cypress Treesby qnjtComment: The subject is good in this photo. I think if it were me, I'd have got some more of the trees or more of the reflections. There seems to be a ton of potential here, if it isn't cropped to cut something out of the picture. The trees have some really cool trunks and I can see why you focused on them. 7 |

Simple Pleasuresby moodvilleComment: very nice emotive shot. Excellent capture. great lighting and framing. I don't think I'd do anything to this one but mat it and frame it. 10 |

Predatory Instinct by joshuamliComment: This is a great capture. There is a hot spot on the right side of his face, but what can you do? There seems to be a little bit of fog or steam or something under the left eye, but that could also be from whatever is causing the hotspot. It almost looks like a lens flare. But again, what can you do? A shot like this you have to take if you're any kind of photographer at all. Great job to get this one and a very good shot 8 |

Ringoby crabappl3Comment: Excellent shot. I could picture this being in NG. I like the expression on the monkeys face and the way his eyes are directed. the focus on his eyes is great and the detail in his fur on his head is very good as well. 9 |
