Sydneys Greatest (Bridge)by RavenComment: This pic is more architecture than landscape IMO. It is in any case a pretty good pic. I like the sepia tone - Inspzil |

See You Later, Aligator... (Bill Haley)by miss parkerComment: Critique Club by Inspzil
Composition - It is very difficult to tell what it is without the title. This pic is almost clear, but not quite and photos like this suffer on dpc. This is a strange perspective for this picture. It it were taken a little further back and included more of the croc's face it would've been better. Maybe a 3/4 view where we could see both eyes. The small size of the pic doesn't help nor does the large border. It makes the pic seem even smaller.
Photography - The picture is slightly out of focus. A major strike for this type of "macro". At the ISO it was shot, it is minimally grainy. It was a pretty long exposure too which is leading me to believe that is the reason for the focus problem.
Processing - Not much to speak of here
Overall - I can see both sides of the fence on this one now that I have some exif data to reference. On one hand, the general composition is not that bad. I would prefer to see it differently, but I see where you were going with this. On the other hand, the softer focus is hurting you. If this pic was not taken right under the beast's nose, the soft focus might not hurt so bad. A shallow DOF (like a macro) doesn't seem like it works real well with an alligator or croc taken from the front since his snout is so long. This has a lot of potential, but there are a few things that need honing to make this a really good pic. - Inspzil |

Path to Serenityby MrsTurboComment: I would've left the color. This looks like the path to death. The iron fence, the whiteness of the trees look almost like flames. - Inspzil |

Country escapeby fotofrogComment: Well taken photo. Love the color of the sky. Too bad about this fence in the way. You might have liked it better cropped right out of the picture. If it were a little more visually appealing it would fit nicely. - Inspzil |

flameby quicksand84Comment: Was this taken while driving? The biggest tree looks blurry. Cool sky. It looks overprocessed to me though. The grey clouds in the distance look like they are pretty grainy as do some of the darker spots on the more foreground clouds. This happens to me a lot when trying to increase the saturation too much. Good luck - Inspzil |

Winter Sunby RoseytoneComment: Hard to expose these bright pictures just right. I think this one is too exposed. The sunflares are really hard to look past. There really isn't too much going on for subjects. It's sort of a background waiting for something to show up, besides the sunflares. Good luck - Inspzil |

Golden Gateby GeneralEComment: Looks like more of a painting than a photograph. I don't really like it. I can't tell if its really well taken or not - Inspzil |

As Sceneby BullwinkleComment: THe thing I like about this is the great DOF. Well done. I'm not overly wild about the pic, but I admire your work making it. - Inspzil |
