Ever use a polarizer? It will keep the sky from going stark white. It keeps the colors from getting out of control when there is more than an adequate light source, in this case, the sun. Good luck - Inspzil

That is one cool picture. I can't say I've ever seen a frozin waterfall. Now I have. Well captured. It's very picturesque. I think this acually could stand to be panned back a little. Composition - I didn't rate this pic very high the first time mostly due to the composition. I don't find anything related to the challenge outside of the title. You're right, you didn't crop the pic too tight and by not cropping it you leave much mess in the background. I do not believe in the washed out snow theory. Snow is white, and by God, it looks white in the picture. Imagine that? This is a very simple snapshot in my opinion. There isn't anything about it to show me anything besides that. Sorry!

Photography - Seems about the right exposure. Snow is not the easiest thing to serve as a backdrop in pictures though. When you leave too much of it though, it dominates the picture. This is not poorly taken, just not very well set-up.

Processing - Not really applicable

Overall - I don't really like the picture. I don't find much artistic merit to it. I don't feel it really meets the challenge. Stand the man out there in a speedo and you have a stranger in a strange land. Sorry I can't be more helpful but there really isn't a lot to build on. Best advice I have is keep shooting and good luck in future challenges. This pic would look great in your family album though. - Inspzil

I don't see this as a landscape. I do like the perspective of this pic. You could've used a few less clouds though so that the colors of the boats was stronger. Too bad we can't dictate the weather. I'm sure it'd improve most of my shots - Inspzil

THe color of the mountains is super. The mountains in general are captured very well. I'm not real fond of the foreground, especially since it isn't in focus. Overall I think its a pretty good photo still - Inspzil

The choice of white border with that washed out sky is very, very questionable. If there was any doubt to if the sky was washed out, you've taken that away. I dislike these little wallet size pics as well. Technically though, the sky is washed out, the framing could be better, the crop could be tighter to eliminate some of the foreground distractions. The color tone of the pic is pretty nice though. Good luck - Inspzil
