Railway Roundhouseby GringoComment: Wow!! What a great looking shot of a Roundhouse. I like the light bleeding in through the doors & windows, as well as the colorful passenger car. There is so much to look at here. Very well done! Adding to favorites! |

2852 Locomotionby hideoutComment: I really like this one! The tack-sharp focus on the crossing sign against the faint blur of the engine is genius. I've seen similar shots where the blur of the train is so extreme that you can't tell what it is. Others where there is no blur so the train looks stationary. This has just the right amount! The deep blue sky adds to the shot as well. Great photo! Adding to my favorites. May come back to bump this up when I get done with all of them. |

Miles to civilizationby paulb_17Comment: Wow, I like this! Of course, people always look at me like I'm crazy when I'm lying on the ground to take pictures of gravel and sand! Ha Ha. What I love about this is that it is more than just a closeup picture of a rail. It's leading line takes you straight to the city skyline. The haziness of the city leads you to believe it is far far away across a blistering hot prarie. Very nicely done! |

Built in 1906by jjstager2Comment: Nice photo. I like the use of shadows and light. I think I would have tried to crop the photo so that the top of the bridge was parallel with the top of the photo. |

The road homeby JohnnyflashComment: I like the concept of this photo, but I would have liked to see a bit more of the rails. |

Alone with Me...by ApeeComment: There is a bit too much glare from the lights which also causes a couple of light halos to the right of the smokestack/tower. I think I would have changed the POV to minimize the buildings in the background as I don't think they add to the composition. |

Downtown Trainby CitadelComment: I think this should would have looked a bit nicer if you had moved closer to the tracks. The tree in the foreground does not add to the composition. If you had been a bit closer to the tracks, you could have used them as a leading line to draw the viewers eye into the photo towards the skyliine. |

The Morning Runby vxpraComment: This is a very interesting shot. The smoke and steam makes the train look as if it is emerging from some type of ethereal portal. I would have liked to see just a bit more contrast. Well done. |

Lahaina Expressby NitinComment: Very colorful train shot. I would have liked to see it cropped a bit less at the top so we could see more smoke. Nice photo. |
