When Road Meets Landby escapetoozComment: If only you had capture the Land part as cleanly as you did the unnecessary human (and hadn't gone for the goofy angle) ..... |

Earth Meets Skyby drewhosickComment: This appears to be overly saturated, which makes the blown-out area of the sky (huge and centered, no less!) conspicuous. |

Countrysideby tembaComment: One of my favorites. Gentle coloring, without being washed out. Well-done. 8 |

Summer Idylby h2Comment: Too 1/2 and 1/2 in the composition, and it seems to need some rotation for the horizon. However, it's a terrific image. |

First Kissby tenfrozentoesComment: The tones are murky / the contrast harsh. and the meaning of your title eludes me completely. |

Trouble Aheadby juliejoldComment: It's a beautiful image, but almost too 1/2 and 1/2. Perhaps, more of the sky and less of the vines would have increased the overall impact. |

A Needle on Landby VpphotoComment: I'm scoring this low for several reasons: The "dramatic" angle was unneccessary. The diagonal goes directly into the corner. The contrast is flat. That bit of bush to the left side is an "odd bit" (just there for no reason.) This sounds harsh, but learning composition and adjustments of colors and light are critical. |
