My last destinationby quzailanComment: I am reminded of a feng shui principle of combining round and square elements. I like the color - even the oversaturation. The fact that the sky is pure white is fine since it is mostly filled with palm trees. And I appreciate the photographer's choice of not chopping off the light fixture at the top of the standard. There is something different, refreshing about this take on bridges |

Columbia-Wrightsville Bridgeby eggvComment: Strongly architectural bridge, but the angle seems to do justice neither to the repeating architectural elements on each span nor to the repeating spans themselves. Mostly the photo is water, sky, and piers - each of which is uninteresting. |

Bridging the gapby trainComment: Very nice idea. And nicely realized. Great bokeh. I wonder where one finds this flora and fauna in early February. I suppose it must be a submission from the southern hemisphere. |

Ready Mixby deadandlivingComment: Ordinary bridge, dull lighting, cluttered feel. I wonder whether a view of the curve in this bridge could thave been made more interesting. |

A bridge within a bridge within a bridgeby sidpixelComment: Wow, that's a cute arch. I wonder whether it would have framed the rainbow well; or maybe you couldn't get there without a boat. The ivy covered bans somehow don't do it for me in this shot. |

Cleveland Bridge at Dawnby codauberComment: That boom overhead: I wish it were either part of the picture or not. And those several buildings are distracting. But it is a striking shot. The sodium vapor lamps really transform the 'river of fire' into a photographically interesting part of the photo. And I like the choice of including the railing in the foreground. Nice Shot. |
