Paranoid Eyes 1983by luddeComment: He does look a little paranoid :)
I like the eyebrow thing, but I would have liked to see more of the other eye. |

Bring The Boys Back Home (The Wall)by Rino63Comment: Did you desaturate? I might have desaturated the red channel b/c there is a pinkish tint to a couple of the white squares. I'm curious why you did just the legs and why you did this angle, too. I would have liked to see the whole boys. |

Dogs Of Warby swanemComment: I thought about doing dogs of war, but didn't have any war paraphenalia laying around :) I don't love the color palate here, I think less yellow would have been better. A blank wall might have been better than the curtains as a backdrop, too. Also, I know dogs are hard to control, but I would have liked to see him looking at the camera. |

In Memory of Syd Barrett - Wish You Were Hereby BlackboxComment: I like the reflection in the guitar a lot. There seems to be a yellow color cast to the photo, though. Also, there's something about the crop that's not totally pleasing to me - it doesn't really comport with the law of thirds. Finally, there are some distracting elements in the background (carpet and something on the wall. |

Empty Spacesby GnarfComment: I like this photo, but I think the contrast is a little too high - the right side is too dark and outside the highlights are blown. Perhaps you were trying to portray empty space, but I think you still could have used a reflector so we could at least see the whole of the woman's face. |

"My hands felt just like two balloons" Comfortably Numb, The Wall, 1979 by tateComment: This is the most clever photo I've seen so far... how'd you get the "hands" to float in the air like that? String? Throw them? That having been said, There are a couple of problems w/ the photo. I feel it has been oversharpened b/c there is - I don't know what it's called - the little dots of noise in the sky. Also, the waves look a little "squared off," and the water is lighter in color between the legs, which is probably a residual from the sharpening. Finally, the picture gives me the impression of being tilted, even though the horizon is approximately straight, because the land is at an angle. |

"Grab That Cash With Both Hands . . ." - Moneyby sammy_stecchinoComment: I thought I had already commented on this picture, but it came up again so maybe it didn't accept my first comment.
The model looks too happy, imo, or actually the wrong kind of happy, for the mood of this picture - like he's part of an after school special or on mood enhancers. I think it would have been better with a slightly crazed look or something. Just my opinion, though. |
