St. Mary's "From the ground up"by bob_bobskiComment: i totally love this shot! at first i thought the blurry stuff were birds or swarms of bats, which gives this image a rather "notre dame" feeling. very nice, please keep shooting OOTB, shots like these bring live and spirit to the challenges. :) |

Moon on the Solent.JPGby bob_bobskiComment: this is an exquisit image, i love the really subtle light fall and the small hints at the houses at the beach on the other side. i really like the b&w conversion, too |

Abandoned (b&w 2008 #4)by nikolaosComment: wow, where is this place?
i LOVE the darkness here of course! very well done and great b&w conversion.
that blownout part in the sky is a little distracting though, but doesn't really take away from the overall intense comp of this shot. |

controlby MephistoComment: Originally posted by Melethia: If he's jumping from the 10m, where the heck are you? |
in the middle one he's "only" jumping from 5m while i'm lying prone on the 10m shooting straight down (i almost wet my pants ;D).
i asked him for that exact pose and it came out exactly how i imaginged it in my head.
actually i got the whole idea for these shots from this picture of mine:
this above shot was more or less a lucky snap shot, but after a while i thought, that it would be cool to have someone in that exact same pose, but from the angle of standing directly behind or above the jumper, and that's how i got the idea.
in the side ones of this tryptich he jumped from the 7,5m tower which was a little to the left, which explains the slightly sloped angle.
edit cus i can't type ;)Message edited by author 2008-02-18 06:47:58. |

german_olympic_jersey.jpgby yankoComment: cool jersey, our sponsors look so good on them :)
only one more advice: it should say "Deutsche Nationalmannschaft" instead of "Deutsche nationale Mannschaft", it just sounds weird, have never heard that before.
anyways good work! |

Prayer (Week 3)by booboo_goonComment: very emotional, looks like that lady was crying or something.
don't know wheather i like the centered comp here, maybe having her on the right edge with more space around her would make for a more exciting compositon. |
