Nature Reclaimsby JuliBocComment: thanks a lot for your comment on my urban decay entry, it is really appreciated. i just now realized you ended up right below me. :-D
i really love the subtlty of the decay theme in your entry, but i guess nowadays you just have to serve the dinner on a golden plate to the voter in order to score well, even if the food is a rotten potatoe... Message edited by author 2009-12-27 20:41:59. |

Adamby michaelmonnComment: I disagree with k10d. Band photos don't necessarily have to be funky or cool or capturing them going all bananas. I think this shows more who they are, and I love how you managed to go for the straight forward lighting and the muted backgrounds. It's a very good series imo.
I'd like to see more of your portrait work...:)

you tell me, man! ;-D
Originally posted by bvy: Those tones are just excellent. Did you cross-process this, or is that the result of the expired film? |
tones are always and exclusively a result of the light! ;-)
but yes, the WAY the tones were captured and appear in the photo is a collaborative result of the expired film, the dof and a tad of post processing. |
