i guess it's only the perspective that makes you thinking that they crashed.
i think, the left plane was higher than the other and more in direction to the photographer (?)

and then the planet in the upper left corner is planet earth... ;P

only the background is a bit distracting imo, i think a pure white or black background would have been a better choice |
