low lightby MephistoComment: if i remember correctly, there was one striplight softbox to her right (left from the viewers perspective), placed a bit behind her, like between the black background and her standing. i think, there was one big white paper to her left, but that does'nt matter, cause i darkened her left side in ps so you could only see the highlights on her silhouette to give a more mysterious look. a big black paperboard was placed right in front of me to my left, so there would be no direct light coming towards and into the lense from the flash when firing (otherwise the picture will be flat and lacks of contrast).
hope that helped a bit...;) |
