Very effective! One of my favorites. I wish the boy was more in focus though - looking at the window, it would appear that the focal point is about half-way down the window.

This photo is way too small to see any details. Be sure and size it to 640 by (whatever) when uploading for these contests.

The lines don't seem to be leading your eyes anywhere. The actually seem to detract. This would be better if the photo was taken with the grain instead of against it, so the lines would lead to your focal subject (whatever that would be).

easily my favorite from this challenge. The spotlighting is interesting. Is this an affect you applied or natural? I would love to see a full view of this to see how this component fits into an entire bridge. 8.

I keep coming back to look at this one. I really like it. Something about the vivid white of the trees against the dark sky and water. I have to admit, though, that I keep struggling to pick up on the "leading lines" aspect of it.

It is one of my favorites from this challenge, even if I'm having trouble making it 'fit'. well done.

Nice concept. The hand is a bit out of focus, which I find distracting.

The backlighting and lense flaring is unfortunate. A different angle would improve this.

Wow! I give this a 9. I never give out anything above an 8. I am speechless.

Wow.

Very nice. Curious to see if the bokeh is natural or photoshop-induced. Either way, very nice.

I just want to know what you were doing to make him look at you like that ;)

What a great expression. Sharp focus, and nice bokeh. A winner!
