I remember this one from the country life ii challange. Caught my eye there. The composition is good. The railing cuts beautifully through the frame. The focus is just spot on the bikers. It's a clean sharp image, a good ide and well executed.

There are a few thing I think could have made the picture better. The branches in the foreground bothers me a bit and the edge of the chair in the bottom right corner. Perhaps another angel of view would have made it better. I would like to see more of the valley. But these are only minor things :)

The idea is good. The green vs yellow looks good. There are a few things that could have done better. The lighting is a bit harsh. Softer lighting would have worked better because the subject is quite soft. I think the background is a bit distracting. I think if the background were more out of focus it would improve the picture. And the focus seems to be a bit off. The autofocus probably caught the leave instead of the fruit. Perhaps a close crop would have made it better as well. Maby just 2-3 fruits in the picture.

Keep up the good work. Love your "Le temps se tient toujours (Time stands still)" shot in the Romance competition.

The reason for the low score is probably because people wanted to see something moving and the background blured. I find the background a bit distracting. A simple black backround could have made this picture much better. Or maby if you would have taken out the white stuff between the keyboard and the monitor. But man am I thirsty for a beer right now! 4.8 is wayyyy to low for this picture. The idea is good and the execution is good. The black background is just spot on and it really looks like a broken hand. People might have rated it higher if the hand was of an old lady or man and perhaps in bw. But I like it. Good luck in future challenges. Best wishes, arnit

The idea and subject is great. Looks reallllly old :) The only thing I can see that could have been done better is the post processing. More contrast in the picture would have made it even better in my opinion. I am wondering how it would look in bw but I like the brownish color so i'm not sure if i would like it better in bw. Not sure what this is. The shape is good and composition. It looks like it is wet. I think the lighting could be better. A strong backlight or something like that. Good luck in future challanges :) You've got some great wildlife shots. Keep it up.

This looks like and graphic painting or something like that. I see some japanese or chines influences. Looks like something from 1800 something. I like it alot. Good job and good luck in future challanges.
