Red Gloss..by CantaloopComment: You should always use the full 640px that is allowed in the challanges. This one would rate much higher if it were 640px instead of the 480px. This is one of the best pictures in the challange but people will rate it low because of the size. One minor detail. The hair that is lit up in her armpit bothers me a bit. I know it is just alit hair from her head :) Good luck. I will not rate it any lower because of the size of it. |

Too Coolby LalliSigComment: When I first saw this picture the first thing I thought was "I've seen this one before". Didn't know where until a few days ago. There was this singing contest in Iceland for the Eurovision contest. Some photographer took pictures of the contestants and one of the picture looks very simular to this one. Here is a link to the picture. Just wanted to share this with you. It is amazing that two people get the exact idea. |

"Patience and Fortitude Conquer All Things"by RikkiComment: Critique Club:
A story makes a picture. Before reading the story behind the picture I thought it was great. Now I like it even more. I like these kind of shots. Real people in real situations. Not a detailed setup shot with some model posing. The black and white adds to the picture. The contrast is good. His face is in the shadow but we can still see the expression on his face. The poeple in the background tell the story. They don't see him and maby they don't want to see him. People find it hard to see people that don't have as good a life as they do. And you've caught that moment really well. Great job.
Best regards, Arnit |

The same shot without the guy walking by would have been alot less interesting. So... good job on that! It really looks like he was just walking by and saw this graffiti and took a look. If he was doing this for you especially for the shoot congrats him on the good modeling job :) I like the symmetry in it. The walls on each side are just perfect. Not to big and not to small. The focus is on the graffiti. Everything leads to the graffiti. Excellent job. The contrast is also just spot on.

Artichoke Hearts Selectionby hotpastaComment: Critique Club:
Hey Enzo,
I'm not sure what those yellow things with chocolate on are but that dosen't really matter. I'm not sure if the background was suppoast to be totally black or not. But I'm seeing the areas that have been burned. Probably just different monitor settings :) To tell you the truth I expect more of you. You've got some really great shots in your portfolio. Your lion shots are just wonderful and I just love your "Preacher Man" shot. So I think you could have done better. But we all have our bad days. Keep up the good work. I will be watching you in the future!
Best Regards, Arnit |

Sex Pistol by kdeleonComment: What an excellent job. I like the rawness of it and the attitude in the girl's face is wonderful. She is believable as an 80's punk rock star. Two thumbs up and one middle finger ;) |

Snoop Doggby arnitComment: Sometimes when shooting concert like this the photographers are supposed to sign a deal that says you can't use the picture for anything else but for the paper or media you are shooting for. But for these concert there was nothing like that. So I suppose I just own the pictures and can do what I want with them :) |

Farming In The Evergladesby LVEComment: Critique Club:
The first thing I notice is that the picture is only 500px unstead of the allowed 640px. A picture like this needs to be as large as possible to look good. The subject is good. But the framing is not good in my opinion. There is to much going on in the foreground. Perhaps if you would have travelled across the creek and having one of the cattle in the foreground.
Good luck in future challanges. |

Rough Sole!by permapierComment: Critique Club:
The subject is just great. It roars country life. I would like to see someone wearing the boots unstead of it just lying there. It bother me a bit that the one toe seems to bee out of focus. And one other thing. Placing them in a more country like place. Perhaps in a barn or in grass or something like that. The composition and lighting is just spot on.
Good luck in future challanges. |
