Aerial Refueling by CorySmithComment: This is an absolutely phenomenal image. Brilliant! To have the opportunity to take such a shot is mind blowing in itself, but that you've executed it as perfectly as you have just blows me away. This is one of my all-time faves on DPC. |

Got a little Captain in ya?by kingdesmondComment: Captain Morgans has to be one of the worst rums about... it is the enemy of the rum drinker. I like the idea of linking alcohol and driving as enemies, so the idea is brilliant... but the keys are a little lost, the composition isn't great, the shallow DOF doesn't help the image, not does the lighting. And what is that in the bottle (center bottom)? Very distracting... |

The Face Of Cowardiceby kingskingdomComment: This is indeed a very powerful image. At first I cringed at the cultural aspect of it, but on reflection, thought that it's only the terrorist i.e. cowards that cover their faces in this way and thus realised the errors of my instinctive reaction. The lighting here is excellent, as is the composition and sharpness. I truly hope that this doesn't suffer b/c of people voting on their initial reaction to this and stop and think. Excellent photo. Should do well. |

Freinds tonight enemies tomorowby minihoigsComment: Interesting take on the challenge. Photo is good, but the girls face appears to be a little blown out by the flash. The crop is a little too tight for my liking... loss of fingers is an issue for me. Only other issue is the red eye... given it´s a basic editing challenge, the only real option would have been to use red eye reduction... 1. assuming your camera has it and 2. assuming you didn´t already use it and this is what you still got. I like the concept and the idea, and I reckon this would have done much better if flash, crop, and red-eye´s were fixed. |

Hammer & Lighbulbs by TomComment: Great idea, and you´ve captured the moment of impact perfectly. Contrast and lighting is good, but it´s a touch soft for my liking. |

Still My Couch of Choice by hotpastaComment: "The Prediction: Hopefully over 6 :( "
You're so modest. This is a brilliant shot and well deserving of the blue in this challenge. Congratulations... you continue to be an inspiration. |

LOGICALLYby picksterComment: Ah... I take it you're an engineer. I used this very line yesterday. :)
Is there a slight tilt to this or is it just me? I'm going to assume the latter. This is one of the better "half full/half empty" submissions in the challenge. I think it's done well, but might have benefited from a less decorated glass, and if you'd waited until the bubbles in the OJ had gone... these details take away from the minimalism the rest of the image is conveying. Should do okay... |

Expectationsby cebuloulouComment: I think you might be wrong in this instance... reckon this will do better than 5.0000... but I have to say, I feel your pain. But, lets talk about the photo. A tad on the uninteresting side for my liking... there's not enough here to keep me looking. Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty scene, there's just no real subject that grabs the viewer. Colours are good, though I think I see a hint of pink in some of the clouds... I do like your tag line though, well and truly fitting for the challenge. I hope that you get above 5.0000, I honestly think it deserves to do better than that (especially taking into account the caliber of many of the other images in the challenge) |

Now THAT's a Beer!by K3MasterComment: Great photo that might suffer b/c of the somewhat distracting background and the tight crop at the bottom... |
