Oh MAN! Had planned on getting back to comment on this during voting.

This was/is my favourite from the challenge. Why? Because of the quality of the image, and the bravery to submit a B&W image for this challenge. The ability to convey red in an image, as you have, without actually relying on the colour... wow! Brilliant!

Very pretty. Might have gone with a longer exposure to lose the ripples in the water, but that would have made the sky OE unless you used a ND filter. Nicely composed and the colours in the sky are great.

That's some serious horns on that cattle. The processing gives this image the look an feel of those old time picture postcards. Nice.

Pier, January

So much going on here. The centre post and shadow makes it into a natural dipthych, with the story on the left of two cyclists on the pier close by, and on the right, pedestrians in the distance. The high-key sky adds a sense of mystery, wonder, as does the hint of something above the cyclists. A beautiful image all-round.

Very cute kid, and I agree about the square crop. Colour and clarity are spot on, and I really like the wet, reflective ground below.
