Lost by heidaComment: Ver nice. The only thing that bothers me is I think it is just a little too dark. I know you were probably shooting for this but I think one notch lighter and it is perfect. Still a 9 |

Pacific Nightsby elsapoComment: My favorite in this challenge. I just don't know what it is but I love it. The simplicity of the shot mixed with the force of an ocean wav and the bright red just does something for me. In short this shot "ROCKS" |

Fairyland by heidaComment: This looks like a painting. You have some marvelous work and are well reconized for that here. This is just one awesome piece of work and looks very Fairy Talish. Great work again from a great photographer. And please post your steps so we can all start winning ribbons.

Union Soldiersby jenesisComment: I love this. I like the soft focus, the lighting. Very pleasing to the eye and excellent work from an already excellent photographer. |

My silent lucidity roomby smilebig4me1xComment: Returning for comment. I gave you a 5 only because of a few things and I will explain:
First: I think it is too tight of a crop. Step back a little and get more of the bathtub.
Second: I really don't care too much for the soft focus but didn't count off a lot for that only because it is personal opinion. It also appears that the candle in the back is totally out of focus. A bigger DOF would also help.
Third: If you had stepped back a little and had a subject in the tub I feel this would get your point across a lot better than it does now. Maybe someone in there reading a book or just with their eyes closed and their head rested on the tub.
Fourth: Once that was done I would get a lower POV.
I really hope this helps. Good luck in all your future challenges. |
