Portland Head Light in Maine! We visited this spot this summer. I wasn't ambitious enough to be there at dawn though :) Nicely done!

Seems a bit snapshot-ish to me. The colors seem to be a bit too harsh with a lot of grain, and the composition seems a little off the mark. Sorry to sound critical on this one... it just doesn't seem like a very compelling entry for a "best of" challenge.

A great moment! I might have bumped up the contrast a bit and maybe would have cropped in a little tighter to bring the bear's head out a little more, but this is a very cool shot.

Not a *bad* shot, but I'm not sure I would have considered this a "best of" candidate. Seems a little grainy, and perhaps not the most unique or interesting choice. I like the humor of it, given where he's looking :)
