Landedby bubeltrubelComment: Beautiful colours and textures on display here, I love the veined orange and black leaf, the mossy green wood and the blue background. I like too the way that the stripes of the leaf mirror those of the wooden decking. I think the background is a little too cluttered shape and colour wise and would prefer the blue of the top right corner to prevail through most of the background but the image works as is too. |

Little Annby jasonlpriceComment: Great composition and square crop; nice use of shallow DOF to soften foreground and background; focal plane spot on providing clarity on that lovely catchlight in the eyes; simple but universal subject matter; works well in black and white. All good! |

Fruit Fiesta by GiorgioComment: Lovely image makes me want to grab that apple and bite into it! The warmth of the light and the contrast between the golden orange/ yellow and the green backdrop work well. The water droplets definitely add interest. The horizontal curve of the foreground apple (starting in one corner and sweeping up into the frame) and the vertical curve of the stem sweeping backwards in the opposite direction make for a really strong composition. |

Lycopene Lunacyby vertigorealityComment: Like the idea and the vibrant colours. Overall, entire thing feels tilted and the tilt doesn't work here, in my opinion. |

'heggberta'by suemackComment: Excellent composition, the head itself almost frames the body behind and I like the angle the line of the crown and beak makes into the frame. Colours work too and the green background and white body are both satisfyingly blurred. |

Bubblesby GatorguyComment: Simplicity works well here, both in terms of composition and lack of colour. Nice bokeh - I like the defraction of the reflected light. Nice use of light and shadow. |

Frostby TallisManComment: Wow, this one is just gorgeous. The rims of frost (or is it sugar?) create such perfect outlines to the shapes of the leaves and help it really pop from the perfectly blurred background. Absolutely gorgeous! |

ablazeby ursulaComment: Wow, what lovely bokeh! The softness feels almost tangible, like a soft duvet! Beautiful colours too. |

Last Summer's Liliesby RKTComment: Lovely light and I like the colours, especially the contrast between yellows and whites in the foreground and blue behind. I also like the contrast between the sharp details of the foreground lily and the soft outline behind. Not sure that the taller one works in this composition as it's stem cuts through the foreground lily and the lower part of it's flower doesn't work for me either. |

Morningby coryxmortonComment: Like the shallow DOF and the softness it gives to the cakes behind. The composition/ cropping does't work for me - particularly the way the cup is clipped at the left edge. |
